Tasting Notes: A bright, light and fruity wine with brambly, huckleberry and red currant characters throughout. A gentle susarrus of warming spice filters through the dominant, wild fruit notes on the peaty nose and the finish of the slightly, effervescent, light-bodied palate. Tasting Notes: Another cutting-edge release from Stag's Hollow, possibly only available at the winery and/or to wine club members, this release of Dolcetto is true to its Northern-Italian roots with a flavour profile of licorice, black cherry and light prune. Dry and medium-bodied, Dolcetto's charred tannins contributes some lingering bitter notes on the tomato-stock and spiced-cherry finish. Pair with spicy pasta dishes or a meat-lover's pizza.
