Availability

Cost: $20
Alcohol: 12%
Date Tasted: August 30th, 2013

Tasting Notes: A bolder version of Muscat when compared to some of its delicate Okanagan Valley peers who focus more on the subtle, pure grape characters VS highlighting its potential for big, juicy orchard fruit flavours like La Frenz has chosen to do. Peach, apple, apricot, citrus and stonefruit aromas and flavours round-out the profile of this joyous, off-dry wine suitable for Sunday brunches or dreary Winter nights when you're dreaming of the warmth of Summer. Not a wine to hold in your cellar for long - best enjoyed in its youth. Drink now-2014.

  1. Reviews like these are very helpful to those who were searching for a specific kind of wine. Blogs like these can actually be used as a guide for organizations or companies that want to serve drinks during their events. I've personally had this bottle of wine in my cellar for two years now, though I'm still undecided as to whether or not I should finally uncork the bottle. What do you think?

  2. Thank you for the kind words.

As to your question, I wouldn't wait any longer to open your La Frenz Alexandria, it really hasn't be constructed to be cellared beyond a couple of years.

Plus, the La Frenz varietal-tier wines are sealed with synthetic corks which I have not had good success with in the cellar. Enjoy.
