Tasting Notes: The latest edition of their Cabernet Franc sees the Lillooet based winery finally able to contribute a significant amount of fruit to the wine from their home vineyard. 65% was sourced from the Fraser Canyon with the balance coming from vineyards along the Black Sage Bench near Oliver. The resulting blend is loaded with herbs and blue fruit making for a very quaffable Franc benefiting from 12 months in barrel prior to bottling. The dry palate that follows, is a tad 'green' on the firm tannins, attributable to the cooler vintage, though it's the herbs, mineral and berry fruit flavours that resonate through to the mouth-watering and well-balanced long finish. Drink 2014-2016.
