Tasting Notes: A masculine Merlot with dark berry fruit, anise, spice, cedar and mint aromas that represents the Painted Rock brand well with its refined palate and complex, luxurious nose, yet doesn't shine quite as bright as the rest of the wines in the winery's impeccable, award-winning portfolio. Age-worthy, nearly to the point of necessity, where it's best to forget about this wine for a few years to allow the mature flavours time to develop and flourish as they have with previous vintages like 2007. Your patience will be rewarded handsomely. Drink late-2014-2018.
