Tasting Notes: Intense, biting dark cherry and black pepper aromas pounce on your nose when you bring it to within a few inches from the glass. When your nose adjusts to the intensity, you'll find more layers of cardamon, cedar and light eucalyptus notes to enjoy before moving on to the equally intense, modern Australian Shiraz palate: sharp acidity, moderate tannins, peppercorn puree and powerful, dark cherry extract. Finesse and elegance are not on offer here, but what it does, it does well. Enjoy with grilled meats over the next 2-3 years. Drink 2013-2015.
