Tasting Notes: This is a massive WINE that has stood the test of TIME and is drinking super FINE! Concentration galore with raspberry fruit, funky earthiness, leather, tobacco and cooking spice characters on the sublime, developed nose and palate. Body and acid reminds one of the texture and weight of a tart Pinot Noir, but the flavour profile screams Southern Rhone. Still has many years left of cellaring before the breaking point. Drink now-2014.
