Tasting Notes: Cherry cola candy, plum, pomegranate, vanilla, sweet smoke and oak aromas await you on the nose of this lightly ruby-brick hued Pinot Noir from Cassini Cellars. The dry palate packs a tart punch on the entry but evolves into a more refined presentation of silky smooth tannins supporting raspberry, cherry, spice and oak flavours. A light-in-the-mouth weight and fluid texture is followed by a long, tart finish with lingering oak spice. A fried gnocchi duck confit salad would pair perfectly. Drink 2011-2014.
