Tasting Notes: A touch of sage brush greets you on the nose of this delicious, smooth and decently complex Merlot. A mix of savoury, earthy and oak notes blend nicely with ripe blackberry, raspberry seed an mint aromas on the nose. The dry palate enjoys body from just a hint of residual sugar and lush mixed berry fruit flavours creating a lovely weight in your mouth. Good acidity cleans up any lingering loose ends into a moderate, well balanced finish. Round with an underlying tannin bite - may develop over time with proper cellaring. Drink 2011-2015.
