Tasting Notes: Made from 100% Grenache grapes, this is a juicy textured, full-bodied Vin de Pays d'Oc AOC wine with dark fruit, barnyard, licorice and plum aromas on the nose. The dry palate offers dark cherry, licorice and warm earth flavours but lacks concentration, tannin structure and focus. Mouth watering acidity make it a good wine to serve with food like meet stews.
This wine will catch your eye on the shelves of your local private wine shop with its colourful and stylish label, but will you buy it again based on what's inside? Probably not. Drink 2010-2011.
