Tasting Notes: If you like a bit of sweetness in your Riesling, but only when it is perfectly balanced with the appropriate level of crisp acid, than this is the Riesling you'll want to try this Summer. The 19.3 g/l of residual sugar may seem like a lot, and certainly this is an off-dry wine, but the balance of acid, with the help of austere mineral aromas and flavours, works so well that you would be hard pressed to remember that number when enjoying the juxtaposition of alternating tartness and sweetness sensations in your mouth and their aimless loitering on the long, satisfying finish.

The sugar helps add texture and fullness to the lemon/lime dominant palate. Some tropical fruit notes are also present adding complexity and enhancing the food pairing opportunities. However, the best match for this wine is a hot and sunny day that was filled with grueling yard work. Drink now-2016.
