Tasting Notes: A touch of oak-aging (about 1/4 of the juice for a short time in new French oak) goes a long way in this vibrant, ready to drink Chardonnay from Southern Okanagan producer Tinhorn Creek. Winemaker Sandra Oldfield has created a fun, moderately complex and most importantly, delectable and quenching Chardonnay.
Classic aromas of luscious melons, buttery ice cream and orchard fruit with quiet herbaceous notes. Flavours of pears, apples, sweet pineapple and light toasted oak spice and with piquant, lemony acidity; very refreshing. This is an excellent wine to pair with a social, hot patio or a passionate board game (will also pair beautifully with pasta in a white cream sauce). Drink now through 2013.
