Tasting Notes: The 2011 edition of this always popular Cabernet Franc from Tinhorn Creek successfully captures the unique blend of cured meats, herbs, cola and blackberry fruit that the variety produces in the Okanagan Valley. What it may lack in intense ripeness, due to the cooler vintage conditions, it makes up for with its balance of body-acid-tannin elements and layered, engaging nose where élevage influence has added notes of vanilla, oak and smooth spices. Ready to be enjoyed now with a Sunday roast or hold for 3 years. Drink 2013-2016.
