Tasting Notes: A brooding, "big" red blend that offers a seductive and very complex nose of plum, dark cherry, mocha, licorice, toasted oak, cigar box and spice aromas. The intensely concentrated dry palate starts juicy with bright red and dark fruits, then moves to savoury oak, anise and forest floor flavours and finally finishing with a lingering touch of pepper and clove. Round tannins and a good acidic kick give structure to the wine and provides the base for a long life of cellaring should you resist the temptation to open your bottle now - you won't be disappointed if you do. Drink 2011-2017.
