Tasting Notes: A new label for the small estate winery, Stones Throw is an aromatic blend of Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon that offers gentle, pleasant aromas of perfume, violets, blackberries and oak. The youthful palate follows with a wave of fresh berry flavours and tangy acidity only slightly rounded by its soft tannins. Missing a little length in the finish, but a good wine for sweetened, roasted ribs or tangy, Korean BBQ dishes. Drink 2014-2017.
