Tasting Notes: Another stellar vintage of Chardonnay from JoieFarm who each year release an amazingly consistent reserve-tier, robust, age-worthy wine, no matter what the growing season seems to throw their way. For 2010 the big, beautiful and enticing nose opens with a bouquet of tropical fruit, minerals, oak and leesy notes that have already developed nicely. On the dry palate that follows, balance between the ripe fruit, lean mineral notes, lively acid and the rich barrel characters is managed brilliantly created a Chardonnay with depth and intrigue: you want to taste more. Ready to be enjoyed now yet has the specs and pedigree to age well (see recent notes on the 2006). Drink now-2018.
