Tasting Notes: Dark ruby in colour (lighter than the Oldfield Series "Reserve" version), this widely available Merlot from Tinhorn Creek is sure to please as an easy-drinking and food friendly match to many grilled or roasted meats. The perfect dinner party wine with classic Merlot dark fruit flavours and aromas for when you don't know the specific likes or dislikes of the other guests. I wouldn't go too far and declare that "there's something for everyone" in this wine, but I would find it hard to believe that anyone would have a strong adverse reaction to its quality juice and the skilled winemaking behind it. Drink young, with food. 2010-2012.
