Tasting Notes: A licorice, black cherry and black pepper driven Syrah from the Black Sage Bench with added notes of charcoal and blackberry - 'all things black' being the key descriptor throughout. Full-bodied and ripe, with RS veering towards off-dry. Wild berry acidity and peppery tannins keeps the sweetness at bay, mostly. Sage, spice and blackberry liqueur linger on the moderate finish. Drink now-2019.
