Tasting Notes: This Pinot Gris is produced in a medium-to-full bodied style despite the absence of any oak contact. Fermented in stainless steel to a nearly-dry level with the residual sugars adding texture and body on the palate and enhancing the rich pear and melon fruit flavours. Lime zest acidity helps balance the rich fruit keeping the wine fresh and lively. A nice vein of minerality present on both the palate and nose adds complexity and a sense of place.
A nice addition to the under $20 Pinot Gris category in BC. Enjoy this wine in its youth. Drink 2012-2013.
