Tasting Notes: Complex layers of cured meats, dark cherry, vanilla, licorice, toasted oak aromas and barnyard notes greet you on the nose of this Central Valley Vineyard Pinot Noir from Meyer Family Vineyards. The bone-dry, savoury palate follows with prominent oak, plum, pine sap, mineral and vegemite flavours. The continuity from the nose to the palate is a bit askew due to the astringent bitterness character to the palate. A waxy textured wine with a moderate finish. Drink 2011-2014.
