Tasting Notes: A very intense nose on this Cabernet Sauvignon produced in the cool-climate region of Margaret River on the West Coast of Australia. Inky-ruby in colour, this wine offers youthful aromas of green pepper, dark chocolate and dark fruit with hints of vanilla from its oak-aging. On the full-bodied palate are flavours of cherry nibs, mocha chocolate, cassis and forest floor with high acid and well-structured tannins.
At this price, this is a wine to purchase in pairs or triplicate in order to enjoy one now and put aside a few for future years. With some aging (2-3 years) this wine could easily reach 91-92 points, maybe more, all for just $22. Drink 2010-2015. - LC
